These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Recovr website and service provided by Recovr, Inc. (“Recovr”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Recovr helps eBay sellers manage disputes. It tracks cases and deadlines, gathers evidence, drafts responses and, with your authorization, submits responses to eBay on your behalf.
Recovr is not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay Inc. Your use of eBay is governed by eBay’s own terms and policies. Recovr can’t guarantee any particular outcome in a dispute: eBay and payment providers make the final decisions.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
- You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You may connect only eBay accounts that you own or are authorized to manage.
Your responsibilities
You’re responsible for the responses and evidence submitted through Recovr, including drafts you approve and responses sent by auto-respond rules you enable. Review drafts before approving them. Make sure everything you submit is accurate and complies with eBay’s policies and the law.
You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading or fraudulent information or evidence
- use the service to violate eBay’s policies or any law
- attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service
- resell or share the service outside your organization without our permission
Plans, trials and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, at the prices shown on our website or agreed in writing.
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and you’ll be charged.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
- If a plan has a monthly dispute limit, we may ask you to upgrade if you regularly go over it.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Changes apply from your next billing period.
Your data
You own your data. You give us permission to use it only as needed to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data by contacting us.
Our intellectual property
Recovr and its software, design and content belong to Recovr, Inc. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your subscription is active.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Recovr available and reliable, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features. If we make a material change that reduces the service’s core functionality, we’ll give you reasonable notice.
Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the service or put other users at risk. When your account ends, your right to use the service ends too, and we’ll delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that any dispute will be won.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Recovr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
